Active citizenship is linked to the acquisition of “Civic competences” as part of transversal competence. Active Citizenship of migrants and members of ethnic minorities is regarded as an investment in the quality of democracy that and will inevitably result in higher representation at different level of power in the receiving country. The direct target groups of this project are adult education providers. All materials and methods that are developed in the course of the project will be employed and used by adult education providers. However, the final beneficiaries are migrants and staff from host countries core institutions.
