Dr Grigoris Michailidis

Dr Michailidis is a practising lawyer in Cyprus with over 25 years of experience, specialising in tax and Companies Law matters. He is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and a Trustee in bankruptcy procedures.

Dr Michailidis attained a Bachelor of Laws from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Right after his Bachelor degree, he attended a Law Terminology course in the München University in Germany, enabling him to enhance his legal knowledge, while afterwards, he received an LLM in Public Law and Political Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as well as an LLM in Comparative Civil Law from Hannover University of Germany. His doctoral studies had been formulated in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a thesis entitled “Towards a common taxation system of businesses–approaches to the harmonisation of tax income”.

Further to that his extensive network was enhanced through the knowledge of various languages like Greek, English, German and French as well as through the various researches undertaken, governing AIFs, EU taxation and social-economic law aspects.
