A Special Education Conference
The University of Nicosia, in collaboration with the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) are co-organizing the conference titled «Building Bridges Among Special Education Researchers and Practitioners» on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 from 9:00-6:00.
The 2016 Building Bridges Conference on Special Education is a welcoming space for educators, academics, professionals, researchers, and others from special education and related fields. It is a global collaborative planned to provide professional exchange between special education and related disciplines internationally. Through these global collaborations and exchanges, we hope to value-add to the work and on-going professional learning of educators, researchers and others concerned with the interests of individuals with special educational needs.
The conference is organized under the auspices of the First Lady, Mrs. Andri Anastasiades, wife of the President of the Republic of Cyprus.

The registration cost of €15, covers the cost of lunch, coffee breaks, and the conference proceedings on a USB for all participants that will register for the conference through the webpage. All registered participants will also be given free access to 17 special education journals for a period of two months.
