Accreditation and Recognition

All University of Nicosia Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degrees are accredited by the Republic of Cyprus, and are recognised in the EU and internationally.

Specifically, the University of Nicosia programmes of study are evaluated and accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (DIPAE), which is registered with the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). This confirms the status and standard of the University’s degrees within the country and abroad, and is indicative of the quality and standards maintained by the university.

The University of Nicosia is a member of the European Universities Association (EUA), the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the Network of Universities of Small Countries and Territories (NUSCT) and is one of a few universities in the European Union that has received both the Diploma Supplement Label  and the ECTS Label.

Recognition in Greece by D.O.A.T.A.P.

D.O.A.T.A.P (Greece) has recognised the University of Nicosia as equivalent to Greek universities, and has thus recognised degrees of our graduates.
