School of Sciences and Engineering

The School of Sciences and Engineering offers academic programmes which provide you with critical theoretical and practical knowledge, equip you with the skills to discover new knowledge, and enable you to become a lifelong learner necessary for productive and rewarding career development.  Classroom instruction is complemented with invaluable laboratory experience which is obtained in our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.

Our programmes are delivered by internationally renowned faculty members with long experience in teaching and extensive experience with scientific research.  Faculty of the School are very active in research and have managed to attract numerous grants from both local and European funding agencies.  They regularly attend local and international conferences and publish their research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

You will be exposed to innovative curricula and current and emerging trends relevant to your discipline, and will have the opportunity to take part in cutting-edge research, leading to exciting employment opportunities in a range of fields.

Call for Applications for MSc in Drug Regulatory Affairs | Fall 2019

The Department of Life and Health Sciences at the University of Nicosia will offer as of September 2019 (Fall 2019) an innovative postgraduate programme (Master of Science) in the field of "Drug Regulatory Affairs". The Drug Regulatory Affairs (MSc) is an international master’s programme focusing on the regulation of medicinal, biological and biotechnological products, as well as on the regulation of other health care products i.e. medical devices and herbal medicinal products.

To Tμήμα Επιστήμων Ζωής και Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας θα προσφέρει από τον ερχόμενο Φεβρουάριο ένα καινοτόμο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα σπουδών επιπέδου Master of Science στο πεδίο «Drug Regulatory Affairs». Το Πρόγραμμα έχει πιστοποιηθεί από το Φορέα Διασφάλισης και Πιστοποίησης της Ποιότητας της Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης της Κύπρου και θα προσφέρεται εξ αποστάσεως (Distance Learning) στην αγγλική γλώσσα.

UNIC supports Student Conference on Computer Science in Thessaloniki

The University of Nicosia supported the 11th Student Conference on Computer Science taking place in Thessaloniki, as the main sponsor. The Conference was a big success, with the participation of more than 2400 students and 340 educators from 127 school units.
