The knowledge and experiences I acquired as a student at the University definitely shaped me as both an individual and a professional. Due to its geographical position and rich history, Cyprus is a truly unique place, ideal for studying International Relations. Indeed, this has given me a great advantage in my current position, where I get to apply all I have learnt during my studies. I am a very proud UNIC graduate!
As I progressed through the programme I knew that I had found my passion. It was the first time which I truly enjoyed learning and I found myself thriving academically. Not only were these courses stimulating and insightful, but they also gave me the opportunity to interact with my peers from across the globe. Simply hearing and discussing the different perspectives of others further highlighted just how impactful digital currencies could be for the future of finance.
Looking back, I can now safely say that the MD programme prepared me extremely well throughout my six years of study. It provided the necessary knowledge and skills that gave me confidence while dealing with patients and proceeding methodically from a patient history and physical examination to the appropriate differential diagnosis and treatment plan.
My experience at the Medical School played a pivotal role in securing my Core Training Post at John Radcliffe Hospital, part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This academic milestone marked the convergence of my aspirations and UNIC’s exceptional support. The rigorous academic curriculum and clinical exposure provided me with a strong foundation in medical sciences and patient care. The Careers Office was an unwavering pillar of support throughout my journey at UNIC. I am grateful for its role in my success and will continue to apply my acquired knowledge and skills throughout my career at Oxford.
