SHSS Newsletter 07 | 2023-24

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) Newsletter

Welcome to the 7th edition of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Newsletter. The first part of the 2023–2024 academic year is already finished. Our students are busy studying for their exams and faculty are about to embark on the very demanding task of marking exam papers and assignments. All look forward to the end of the examination period and to the new Spring 2024 semester.

As with previous editions of our School’s Newsletter, this issue contains information about colleagues’ research projects, recent publications, conferences organised at the university, conferences attended by faculty, as well as exhibitions organised to celebrate the work of our students. The very kind donation of two works of art by Athanasios Spiliopoulos to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences is also featured.

We take this opportunity to thank all colleagues who have enriched this edition of the Newsletter with their projects, publications and activities. The Editorial Committee and I look forward to receiving submissions for future editions of the SHSS Newsletter. We look forward to continue disseminating the rich multidisciplinary work and achievements of our School to the wider academic community.

With best wishes,
Professor Ioulia Papageorgi
SHSS Newsletter Editor
Associate Dean of School
