Professor Rossitsa Artemis

Dr Rossitsa Terzieva-Artemis is Professor in the Department of Languages and Literature at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. She works in the fields of English and American literature, and continental philosophy. Rossie holds an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria (1993); an MPhil in Gender Studies from the Central European University, Hungary (1998); an MPhil in the Human Sciences from the George Washington University, USA (2000); a PhD in the Human Sciences from the George Washington University, USA (2005). Rossie is the author of the book Stories of the Unconscious: Sub-Versions in Freud, Lacan, and Kristeva (Peter Lang Publishers, 2009). She is a guest editor of a special issue on Julia Kristeva of the journalStudies in the Literary Imagination (Georgia University Press, 2015), as well as an editor of a volume of essays on Ford Madox Ford’s novel The Good Soldier (Brill│Rodopi, 2017).
