University of Nicosia’s course on “NFTs & the Metaverse” receives award by INATBA for the “Most Exciting Project in Education” in 2023

On January 31st, The International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) organized an Awards Ceremony and Gala event in Brussels to recognize blockchain excellence, and presented groundbreaking NFT Awards.

The University of Nicosia’s course on NFTs & the Metaverse received the award for the ‘Most Exciting Project in Education’ in 2023.

UNIC’s open introductory course to NFTs and the Metaverse, the first ever university course to be delivered on-chain and in the metaverse, has over 20,000 registrants and is taught by world-renowned lecturers. The award attests to UNIC’s eight-year track record as the leading university in the field of blockchain and the metaverse.

During the event, INATBA honoured the top contributors of its working groups, and has given Special Awards to personalities as well as organizations such as the European Commission which received the award for advancing international public policy cooperation on blockchain technologies. INATBA presented the awards for the Most Exciting Projects of 2023, using cutting-edge Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), offering a ‘secure and unique way of recognising and celebrating achievements.
