You are invited to the Junior Achievement Cyprus Company of the Year Competition 2015 Final & Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, 30 April from 18:00-20:30 at the Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia.
 

The Finale and Award Ceremony is the culmination of the efforts of over 200 students, aged 15-18, who created and ran their own company for the past seven months. During this special event, 10 finalists – out of 32 student companies created under the 2015 Company Programme – will pitch their entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of judges in an attempt to secure the title of "Company of the Year". The winning team will travel to Berlin, Germany, to represent Cyprus at the European Competition of JA-YE that will be held from 28 to 31 July.

JA Cyprus (www.jacyprus.org) is a member of Junior Achievement-Young Enterprise Worldwide (JA-YE), a global non-profit organization specialized in youth entrepreneurship education, that aims in equipping young people with entrepreneurial, financial literacy and employability skills.  Through the Company Programme, students, aged 15-18, are offered the opportunity to learn through experience how to take a business idea, from concept to actuality, by forming and running their own real companies for a whole academic year. The programme aims at equipping students with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies necessary for a successful professional career in a globalized economy.
