Digital Transition and Inclusion in Education: An Agenda for Action

May 18 – 21, 2023

The Council for Education in the Commonwealth (CEC), University of Nicosia, Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programs (IDEP), and UNESCO Chair of the University of Nicosia are jointly organising “Education Conference 2023”, on May 18 – May 21, 2023 at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus.

Conference Aim

To explore the digital transformation of education and how it contributes to greener and more inclusive societies.

Conference Objectives

  • Share research and best practices across universities.
  • Discuss the effects of the digital transformation in education upon diversity and inclusion.
  • Discuss the effects of the digital transformation in education upon sustainability efforts.
  • Discuss how the digital transformation in education has affected schools and universities.

Dinner Cost: 30 Euro (waived for speakers/presenters/ ACU members/ CEC Board of Trustees)

Submission Guidelines and Deadline

We welcome submissions related to one of our conference sub-themes, and we would appreciate if you could clearly specify the sub-theme in which you would like your abstract to be considered.

All abstract submissions are due Monday, March 13, 2023; notifications to accepted authors will be made by March 27, 2023.

  • The abstract should be between 450-500 words.
  • Font face: Times New Roman, and size: 11 points.
  • Abstract should include purpose of study, methodology, summary of findings/results, conclusion and significance / contributions of study.
  • List a maximum of 5 key words.
  • Title, author’s name, affiliation, address, telephone and fax number, and email address should be included.
  • Abstract should be written in English.
  • Standard formatting such as bold, underline and dot points can be used.
  • Please do not include any paragraph or line formatting. Leave as single spacing.
  • All abstracts should be MS Word format (DOC or DOCX). Please save your abstract using this format: “EC2023-yourLastName.doc”
