Call for Applications to the Doctorate (PhD) in Electrical Engineering | Fall 2026
For the Fall 2026 semester, the University of Nicosia announces the opening of five (5) positions for admission to the Doctorate (PhD) in Electrical Engineering.

Σειρά επιμορφωτικών συναντήσεων για τη «Διαχείριση συμπεριφορικών και κοινωνικο-συναισθηματικών δεξιοτήτων» παρακολούθησαν εκπαιδευτικοί προσχολικής αγωγής από τη Λευκωσία, τη Λάρνακα και τη Λεμεσό, στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού έργου MTSS-K (Horizon Europe). Επικεφαλής της κυπριακής ομάδας είναι η Δρ Ευδοκία Πίττα, Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας.
Με επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε στο UNIC Athens το συνέδριο για Πνευματική Ιδιοκτησία και Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη
Το συνέδριο αποτέλεσε σημείο συνάντησης ακαδημαϊκών, νομικών, δημιουργών, θεσμικών φορέων και επαγγελματιών της τεχνολογίας, συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά στον δημόσιο διάλογο για το μέλλον της πνευματικής ιδιοκτησίας στην ψηφιακή εποχή.

Medical School showcases faculty and student contributions in international scientific publication
The publication includes research from multiple institutions and countries. It also features work by fourth-year UNIC medical students Aikaterini Katramadou and Eva Sonja Bender, conducted under the supervision of Prof. Kanakis.
New review on water intake and quality in livestock and poultry nutrition
The publication was produced in collaboration with researchers from Greece, Ireland and Switzerland, and examines the role of water in livestock and poultry nutrition, with particular attention to both water intake and water quality.
Advancing early identification of children at risk of developing life-threatening infection in low-resource settings
Constantinos Koshiaris, Assistant Professor of Medical Statistics at the Medical School, has contributed to an international study recently published in the medical journal Nature Medicine, aimed at improving the early identification of children at high risk of severe infection in low-resource settings.
