The University of Nicosia constantly aims to develop and strengthen internal and external networks in order for Faculty and Researchers to benefit from such links.
Today, the University collaborates with various Academically Affiliated Institutions and has established close links with other academics institutions, governmental bodies and the industry. Faculty and Researchers may benefit from these partnerships and are encouraged to spend some time familiarising themselves with the various Academically Affiliated Institutions and industry links available.
The R&IO is available to advise Faculty and Researchers and to connect individuals with specific individuals, institutions and/or organisations, according to their research interests.
The Centre builds on the integration of broad but complementary expertise of its founding members ranging from fundamental cellular and molecular mechanisms of neuronal signaling all the way to behavioural and wider determinants of population health and wellbeing.

Cyprus Medical Research Institute
The Mass Media & Communication Institute (IMME) was established in 1999 as a non-profit, research-academic organization based in Nicosia. IMME works closely with the Department of Communications, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, at the University of Nicosia.

The Research Unit in Behaviour & Social Issues (RUBSI) was registered officially in November 2005 as a non-governmental organisation. Its mission is to improve the processes and mechanisms which influence the health and well-being of the Cypriot population.
The Cyprus Branch of the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS Cyprus) was officially launched in 2018, the year in which the Royal Commonwealth Society celebrated the 150th anniversary since its establishment in 1868 in London. RCS Cyprus is located and administered at the main campus of the University of Nicosia, aspiring to build on the University’s capacity and accelerated growth, with the aim of maximising its own potential as well as its international footprint in Commonwealth affairs.
The Mediterranean Institute of Hydrocarbons Technology, is a non-profit organization (in the form of non-profit, limited liability company) based in Cyprus and with activities in both European region and the wider Middle-East region.
N‐Lab is a non profit entity aiming to become a leader of Innovation services in Cyprus targeting support from European schemes such as Horizon2020 and other regional or national research intensive initiatives.
