A CV may look a little more professional if it includes extracurricular activities related to one’s field of study. Having the chance to participate in the University’s Academic Clubs can do the trick!
A growing range of course-related academic clubs are active at UNIC. You may find clubs for the majority of undergraduate courses within the University, along with clubs for postgraduate and mature students. The main goal of these clubs is to bring students together in an ‘out-of- classroom’ atmosphere so that they can meet and discuss course relevant topics and issues.
In addition, academic clubs provide students with information about the university, its courses and whenever necessary advise and help them with their studies and projects. Through activities such as educational events, community service, social functions, committee involvement, etc., each club also helps its members acquire additional skills and improve their knowledge in order to be successful. Some of the Academic clubs students can activate each year, are the following:
- Human Biology
- International Relations and European Affairs
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Petroleum Engineering
- Social Work
