“Having been an EFL teacher for almost 10 years, I came to realize that continuing professional development is of key importance in our profession. “After my BA graduation in English Language and Literature from University of Nicosia, I realized that I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to my academic journey just yet. Therefore, I decided to prolong it by persuading a postgraduate degree in MA in TESOL at the same university – the University of Nicosia. It was an easy choice to make since I already had an amazing learning experience there during my BA studies. Therefore, throughout my Master courses I was taught and demonstrated the importance of diligence, perseverance and continuous learning.
