DIGITALLI – Digital Strategies for Lifelong Learning Institutions

DIGITALLI is a European cooperation project funded under the Erasmus+ Programme, focusing on the digital and AI-driven transformation of adult education and lifelong learning institutions. It aims to address the increasing gap between the demand for and supply of digitally competent workforces. Its primary goal is to empower lifelong learning and adult education institutions to implement digital transformation strategies effectively. This initiative enhances resilience among adults to adapt to rapid technological and labour market changes, utilising frameworks such as DigCompOrg, DigCompEdu, and the European Digital Skills Certificate. Through innovative tools like a Toolkit, a Digital Transformation Expert System, and an in-service Training Programme, DIGITALLI seeks to modernise teaching practices and organisational strategies while promoting Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of adult education and lifelong learning institutions to design and implement effective digital transformation strategies with a strong focus on AI.

Key deliverables and milestones include:

  • A practical Toolkit for developing and implementing AI-focused digital learning action plans
  • A Digital Transformation Expert System, providing step-by-step guidance and consultancy support to institutions
  • A Training Programme for Human Capital, targeting adult education leaders and educators to modernise teaching, learning, and organisational practices
  • Dissemination and exploitation activities to ensure wide European uptake and long-term sustainability of project results

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) participates as a core project partner, contributing its extensive expertise in digital education, teacher training, inclusive learning environments, and educational innovation.

UNIC is actively involved in:

  • The design and development of digital transformation resources and training materials
  • The pedagogical and research-based grounding of project outputs, drawing on European frameworks such as DigComp, DigCompEdu, and DigCompOrg
