Brief Aims and Objectives of the Club/Specialty Society:

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Society aims to give students from all years a meaningful opportunity to explore this specialty and its many intersections with other areas of medicine. Because OBGYN spans prevention, acute care, surgery, oncology, imaging, public health, and ethics, it offers an ideal gateway for discovering diverse fields while building strong clinical and research skills. We want to motivate students to undertake projects that are rooted in OBGYN yet thoughtfully combine perspectives from neighboring specialties, and to support them through tutorials and mini-lectures on how to approach research—from forming questions and conducting literature reviews to study design, writing, and presenting—within a welcoming, motivating environment
