BIOGRAPHY: H.E. Gil Sou SHIN, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea was born on 21 October 1955. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea on August 1978. He has a BA in Economics from Seoul National University. During his diplomatic career, he has served in the French Republic, Taipei, Switzerland, Philippines, and Canada. He has also served as Ambassador to the Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to Geographic Naming, Northeast Asian History Foundation, and to Doha Development Agenda (DDA). He was appointed as Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, Republic of Cyprus and Republic of Albania in 2012.
