Yiannis Leonidou is an Audit & Assurance Partner based in Nicosia and has over 25 years of experience in the audit profession.

Yiannis specialises in the technology, financing, retailing, automotive, healthcare, leisure and construction sectors and has experience in the audit of multinational companies listed both on the Cyprus and other foreign stock exchanges, as well as in the audit of private local and international companies. Yiannis travelled to many European, Middle East and Asian countries to lead Group audit assignments.

He has served as the Chairman of the IFRS committee of the ICPAC for 3 years and is currently the Chairman of the Audit and Assurance Committee of the ICPAC. He has also served as a member of other Committees of the ICPAC, including Information Technology and Hospitality. He is a member of the Board of Cyprus-India and Cyprus-Kazakhstan Association of CCI. He is also a member of Deloitte Cyprus Audit Quality Board and has also served as the System of Quality Control Partner of Deloitte Cyprus in the past.

Maria is a professional auditor and consultant with more than 27 years of professional experience in the profession.

During her career, Maria was in charge of a wide portfolio of audit clients in various sectors including Financial services, Shipping, Banking, Government organizations, Retail, Semi-Government, Funds, Provident and Pension Funds, Listed Companies, Associations, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Construction and Tourist and hotel, EMIs and Fintech companies. Maria specializes in the audit of entities in various sectors, mainly shipping, banking, retailing, hotel, tourism and technology sectors. She was highly involved in the floating process of companies registering to the Cyprus stock exchange. She has wide experience in advisory and other assurance services such as Due diligence, reorganizations, flotation and liquidations processes of major companies both locally and abroad, auditing large and complex consolidations, recording control systems and testing control procedures of public companies, designing of internal controls, development of templates and processes to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory bodies.

Maria has expertise in providing IFRS advisory services and as a certified trainer, she is designing and conducting internal and external trainings pertaining to professional topics such as IFRS, ISAs, Audit methodology and other related subjects.

She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FAAT), a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and a Member of the Auditing Standards Committee of ICPAC.

He is also a Fellow member of the International Compliance Association (UK) and a professional member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (USA). Today, he is the Director General of the Association of Cyprus Banks (ACB) and an Executive Committee member of the European Banking Federation (EBF).
