The University of Nicosia Global Semesters is hosting a theatre group from Oklahoma City University (OCU) in Cyprus. Professor D. Lance Marsh, along with 9 brilliant visiting OCU theatre students, will stage a compelling dramatic presentation of “Elektra” from Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. The dress rehearsal of the theatre performance will occur on Monday, 14 July 2025 at 19:00 at UNIC’s Open Amphitheatre, and is open to the campus community.

The theatre performance will happen at the historic Paphos Ancient Odeon on Sunday, 20 July 2025 at 21:00.

This performance will offer the public a chance to witness a classic Greek tragedy in a historic open-air venue. The production showcases the students’ dedication to bringing timeless narratives to life with skilful acting and thoughtful staging, as well as UNIC’s and OCU’s ongoing commitment to creative student engagement.

Be part of an evening that highlights the enduring impact of ancient drama on contemporary audiences.
