Christiana Charalambous is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
Dr Charalambous holds a BSc Honours in Biochemistry (University of Surrey, UK) and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology (University of Southern California, USA).
Her research focuses on (a) the identification of molecular factors responsible for tamoxifen resistance in breast cancer, and (b) the investigation of the role of natural compounds or their metabolites on cancer treatment and prevention.
