On 21 February 2025, UNIC Medical students, based at Paphos General Hospital (PGH), organised the 2nd multi-thematic clinical conference at the amphitheatre of PGH, under the supervision of Professors Joseph Moutiris and Joseph Joseph, who served as chairs of the conference.

The event featured 11 presentations from Year 5 and 6 students, covering a diverse range of topics, including new medical research, case reports from clinical rotations, personal medical experiences, and audit findings.

The conference provided a professional platform for students to present their work, exchange clinical insights, and engage in discussions with peers and faculty members. The event received excellent feedback from both students and doctors, highlighting its role in fostering medical education and collaboration.

The success of this second conference reinforces the value of student-led initiatives in medical learning. Organisers hope that it will continue as an annual tradition, offering future cohorts the opportunity to contribute to the evolving landscape of medical education at PGH.

Special thanks to Stella Naziri, Paphos General Hospital Senior Site Administrator at UNIC Medical School, who played a major role in providing invaluable guidance throughout the process.

The event is supported by the University of Nicosia Medical School and the State Health Service Organisation  of Cyprus.
