The UNIC Health Careers Office is delighted to share the exceptional outcome from our recent employment analysis. An impressive 99.9% of our graduates, amounting to 907 out of 908 individuals who completed their studies between 2015 and 2023, have secured offers for residency training and research positions. These opportunities span across more than 300 esteemed medical centres worldwide, underscoring the global demand and recognition for our graduates’ expertise and qualifications.
Among the distinguished medical centres that have welcomed our graduates are Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, and, within London, St Mary’s Hospital, King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, and University College Hospital. Internationally, our graduates have been sought after by institutions such as Harvard Medical School in Boston, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Mount Sinai in New York, the University of Toronto and Dalhousie University in Canada, and the Sheba Medical Center and Hadassah University Medical Center in Israel.
Ms Sue Chrysostomou, UNIC Health Careers & Alumni Manager, emphasized the resilience and ambition of our graduates, stating, ‘The employability rate of our graduates continues to rise. Our comprehensive support system, which offers guidance and coaching from the onset of their medical education through to graduation and beyond, ensures that each student is well-prepared to realize their career goals. This approach not only helps them to have a clear vision of their career aspirations but also outlines the most effective strategies to achieve them’.
