
Professor Rudiger Kaufmann
Prof. Dr. Hans Ruediger Kaufmann completed his sponsored PhD in 1997 and was as research assistant and then lecturer (p-t) at Manchester Metropolitan University. Later, he worked in Budapest, first as Course Director Marketing for a company affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and then as an Assistant Professor in Marketing at the International Management Centre Budapest as well as its contractual consultant. He launched his international management consultancy in 1997. At the University of Applied Sciences Liechtenstein he was Academic Director Private Banking and, later, Head of the Competence Centre International Management. Since October 2006 he has been affiliated with the University of Nicosia, School of Business; first, as Associate Professor and, since February 2013, as Professor. Since 2016, Rudi is also engaged for the University of Applied Management Studies Mannheim in Germany as Professor for International Sales Management and, for 7 years, was Chair of business-related and BA and M.A. courses, latter fully taught in English. He has been a launching member and President (2007-2009) of the international research network on consumer behavior, CIRCLE International. He also was a launching member being currently Vice-President of the EuroMed Research Business Institute (EMBRI). In 2011, Rudi was elected to the Board of the AMA (American Marketing Association) Global Marketing SIG as Vice Chair Communications. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal ‘Progress in Industrial Ecology, Associate Editor of the World Review of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development, member of the editorial board of a variety of journals. As Adjunct Professor, he is Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of Vitez.
