The Department of Politics and Governance of the University of Nicosia, invites you to an online webinar titled “Disruptive Technologies in a Changing Security Environment: The Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean” on Thursday, 13 November 2025 between 19:00-20:00.

This event, organised by the MA in International Relations and Eastern Mediterranean Studies, E-Learning/Distance Learning (Online) programme, offers a unique opportunity to delve into critical issues shaping the security landscape of the Eastern Mediterranean—one of today’s most geopolitically complex regions. The webinar addresses the following question: Taking regional challenges in the Black Sea the Eastern Mediterranean into consideration, how do strategic and intelligence priorities tackle hybrid threats?

A moderated Q&A session will follow the presentations, providing attendees with the chance to engage with experts and deepen their understanding of the multifaceted security challenges facing the region.
