We are pleased to share that our University is among the main supporters of the second “Run in Colour” in Cyprus, all net proceeds of which will be going to the ELPIDA FOUNDATION, to assist in the care and treatment of children suffering from cancer and leukemia. 

Last year, the University of Nicosia Team comprised over 200 students, staff and faculty, who ran or walked the 5K trail in unison for charity!

This year, the initiative has also been embraced by the CSR Committee, through which we hope to further enhance our contribution to the effort.

As part of our collaboration, tickets are available at a special rate for the University community (including Intercollege and GlobalTraining personnel). More specifically, interested colleagues can benefit from up to 5 tickets at only €10 per ticket. Each participant will get a running T-shirt, sunglasses, drawstring bag, and a colour pack on the day.
 
There’s a sign-up booth in the Millennium Cafeteria, where you can register for and/or get more info on this exciting and worthwhile activity. Moreover, we will have a wonderful presence at the event itself, with our own Colour Station/Archway (dispensing red powder) along the coastal part of Molos, in Limassol. Feel free to join us on 8 October, either to run, walk or fling red powder at the masses!
