Energy Law Clinic

The Energy Law Clinic was established to provide policy solutions to energy and environmental issues. Participants have the opportunity to deal with issues related to the environment, energy and natural resources and dealing with wildlife protection, marine environment protection, climate change, air pollution, renewable sources, petroleum and natural gas. The main focus is on Cyprus’ energy related issues, while at the same time participants also work on the basis of European and international legal frameworks.

Members of the Clinic are given the opportunity to deal with all issues related to energy law and conduct legal research relevant to hydrocarbons, law of the sea and exploration and exploitation of natural resources.  With the discovery of natural gas in the Exclusive Economic Zone of Cyprus, education and experience in matters related to energy and the environment, gives a huge advantage to participants of the Energy Law Clinic.
