General Law Clinic

Clinical education plays an integral and important role in legal education. It is within that context that the Law Clinic at the University operates a section whereby participants gain valuable practical skills and experience including, inter alia, extensive legal research, oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills and acquaintance with all aspects relating to the legal profession.

This section of the UNIC Law Clinic prepares participants for the management of actual cases in the future in all areas of law. Students participate in mock trials and teaching includes interviewing techniques, negotiation, alterative dispute resolution, etc. Learning to implement legal theory into practice, the Law Clinic, in general, provides an excellent opportunity to participants to implement law in practice.
