OISTOS 2024–2025 | Year in Review of the Department of Education

This year’s review captures the Department’s multifaceted work, highlighting its activities, collaborations, and research achievements.

It showcases the achievements and distinctions of the Department’s students and graduates, as well as their active participation in educational, research, creative, social initiatives and mobilities, including BIP programmes designed to enrich their learning experiences.

Furthermore, the review provides insights into the involvement of academic staff in international scientific conferences, lectures, outreach activities, research projects, Erasmus mobility programmes, along with details of recent book and journal publications that further strengthen the Department’s dynamic presence and reputation within the broader academic community.

The academic year was also marked by a significant event: the conferral of an Honorary Doctorate by the School of Education to author Eugene Trivizas, in recognition of his long-standing and multifaceted contributions to literature, education, and culture.
