The Andreas Vesalius Amphitheatre at UNIC Athens is a high-capacity instructional and event space designed to support large-scale academic delivery and interdisciplinary engagement.
It is architecturally and technically aligned with the adjacent amphitheatre, allowing the two amphitheatres to open up and interconnect when required, forming a single continuous large-scale lecture and event space.
In its standalone configuration, the amphitheatre supports lectures, seminars, academic presentations, and large-group instruction across diverse fields of study. The space is designed to ensure clarity of communication, strong acoustics, and effective interaction within large cohorts.
Its tiered architectural structure provides clear sightlines from all seating positions, complemented by advanced audiovisual infrastructure that supports high-resolution projection, integrated sound distribution, and seamless presentation delivery.
The amphitheatre is equipped to support hybrid and digitally enabled learning environments, including lecture capture and live streaming, enabling flexible participation and extending access to academic content beyond the physical space.
