Ignatios Liapis

Dr Ignatios Liapis is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Academic Clinical Lead at the University of Nicosia School of Veterinary Medicine

Dr Liapis graduated from the Veterinary School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1985.

In 2002, he obtained the French diploma in Veterinary Ophthalmology from the Veterinary School of Toulouse. Since then, his main scientific and professional interest has been canine and feline ophthalmology. His work has been published in scientific journals in Greece and abroad.

In 2015, he established the Plakentia Veterinary Clinic and since 2022 he has been chairman of the board of directors of the Plakentia Veterinary Clinic Group.
