Georgia Bargouli

Dr Georgia Bargouli is a Clinical Associate at the University of Nicosia School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr Bargouli holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD from the Clinic of Obstetrics and Artificial Insemination of the same institution, with research specialization in farm animal reproduction. She further strengthened her interdisciplinary profile by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma (Master’s level) in Management and Public Administration from the Mediterranean Institute of Management of the Cyprus Productivity Centre.

She served for fifteen years as a Veterinary Officer in the Public Service within the Veterinary Services, with responsibilities of major operational and strategic relevance, including the coordination of national animal disease eradication and control programmes and the implementation of an innovative embryo collection programme for indigenous sheep and goat breeds.

Following her service in the public sector, she subsequently worked in a small animal veterinary clinic, further strengthening her practical expertise and professional engagement in clinical veterinary practice.
