ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr Diego Gomez-Nieto, DVM, MSc, MVSc, PhD, is a board-certified specialist by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) and an expert in large animal internal medicine. He is the Director of the Internal Medicine Section at the Abu Dhabi Equine and Camel Hospital (ADECH) and has previously held academic and clinical positions at the University of Florida and Ontario Veterinary College.

His research interests include colitis, gastrointestinal diseases, and critical care for horses and calves.

He is currently a Visiting Professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nicosia.
