New partnerships expand veterinary training options
UNIC Health has established a number of partnerships over the past few months that enhance clinical training for vet students.

Specifically, UNIC Health announced a new agreement with VetTrust, based in Switzerland, to provide clinical training for Veterinary Medicine students. This collaboration will allow UNIC students to gain practical experience at VetTrust’s facilities, specifically focusing on their 5th-year clinical training, enhancing their educational experience and preparing them for future careers (Read more).

Meanwhile, the Vet School announced a new agreement with PLAKENTIA Group of Veterinary Clinics. This collaboration brings together the academic expertise of the University of Nicosia with the clinical experience of PLAKENTIA’s extensive network of veterinary facilities including veterinary clinics in Athens (Agia Paraskevi & Alimos), Thessaloniki, and Syros island. UNIC Health also signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Municipality of Nicosia, in the field of Veterinary Education. The partnership establishes a framework for collaboration in veterinary research and training, as well as practical learning opportunities for veterinary students (Read more).
