The School of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with UNIPORK Cyprus Ltd, continues its series of training seminars aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of pig producers in Cyprus. These seminars represent an important initiative to improve animal health and, consequently, public health.

The first seminar, held last June, focused on intestinal diseases in suckling piglets. The second seminar, conducted last week, addressed critical issues such as sudden deaths and summer infertility in sows.

These training seminars provide producers with valuable scientific knowledge on practical issues related to pig farming. The main goal is to continuously improve farming conditions, which directly affects the quality of pork consumed by the Cypriot population, thus contributing to the protection of public health.
