Dr Zanete Garanti

Adjunct Faculty

Dr. Zanete Garanti is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Marketing, School of Business at the University of Nicosia, specializing in Marketing Management. She holds a PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's degrees from the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. Dr. Garanti's research focuses on sustainable and smart development, particularly in the tourism and hospitality industries, as well as social media marketing. She has numerous publications in esteemed academic journals, including Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes and the International Journal of Bank Marketing (Emerald). Additionally, she serves as an Editor for the Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes journal. With extensive teaching experience, she has also served as an Associate Professor at City Unity College and a Guest Professor at Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. Currently, Dr. Garanti is engaged in Erasmus+-funded research projects focusing on digitalization, smart growth, and development.
