Turn language into a dynamic visual statement.
The Department of Design & Multimedia (BA Interactive Media and Animation), invites you to join the Workshop: Create a Visual Concept in Motion – Animated Typography with Social Impact. The workshop will take place on Saturday, 14 March 2026 at the Multimedia Lab (B16), between 9:00-13:00.
In this hands-on workshop, students will learn how to transform words into compelling animated messages using Adobe Animate CC. Through the interplay of typography, color, and motion, participants will explore how design can communicate ideas that resonate — from raising social awareness to expressing personal viewpoints.
Students will create short kinetic typography animations designed to inform, provoke, or inspire, making them suitable for social media, campaigns, or digital showcases. The workshop also offers an introduction to the evolving landscape of new media and animation, supported by strong contemporary visual examples and future-focused design insights.
