Panayiotis Thrasyvoulou
Former President of CyHRMA, Associate Partner, Head of People Advisory Services, Ernst & Young Cyprus Ltd
Panayiotis Thrasyvoulou served two terms as President of the Cyprus Human Resources Management Association (CyHRMA).
He is an Associate Partner and the Head of People Advisory Services (PAS) at EY Cyprus. At EY, Panayiotis helps organisations transform their people functions and navigate the future effectively.
He joined EY after working for 11 years in HR leadership roles in diverse Groups of Companies, which, among others, operate in the fields of automotive, construction, property development, hospitality, FMCG, IT and 3PL.
He then founded his own consulting firm, which he successfully ran for 3 years, before taking on his current position.
He is a certified Quality Manager, a certified Trainer and assessor of renowned psychometric tests.
Panayiotis holds a BSc (Merit) in Business Management from Essex University, an MSc (Distinction) in International Employment Relations & Human Resources Management from LSE, and a PhD (c) in Management from the University of Cyprus. At LSE he received the “Foundation of Automation and Human Development School Prize for the Best Overall Performance”. His academic research revolves around the issues of work and organisational (re) design.
Efi Demetriou
HR Manager, MEA Region, NCR Corporation
Efi received a Bachelor of Science in Management and Business Administration from the University of Piraeus in Greece and progressed with her master’s degree in Total Quality and Performance Management discipline from Bradford University in the UK.
She is currently working with NCR Corporation for 9 countries in EMEA Region, at the position of HR Manager. She has developed a hands-on experience and deep dive in leading HR initiatives and deploying global HR programs, with specialization in Employee and Labor Relations.
She is also responsible for the strategic priorities of the CFO Group for MEA Region. Prior to NCR, she had an extensive career at KPMG’s Human Resources Advisory Department. During that period, she held numerous positions and dealt with interdisciplinary projects and engagements including the areas (and not limited to): full-cycle of the recruitment procedure; performance management; employee relations; developing and improving HR processes, values, procedures; job evaluation exercises.
