The Department of Politics and Governance of the School of Law of the University of Nicosia and the International Relations and European Affairs Club of the University of Nicosia cordially invite you to the launch of the book: Cyprus and the First World War, co-edited by Professor Hubert Faustmann and Professor Georgios Kazamias.

Following a short introductory address by the editors, the book will be presented by Professor Achilles C. Emilianides, Dean of the School of Law, University of Nicosia, President, Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts.

The book launch will take place on Wednesday, 10 June 2026 from 18:30 to 19:30 at the UNESCO amphitheatre of the University of Nicosia and will be followed by a reception at the Block restaurant.

The event is supported by the Research Office on Polity and Public Policy of the Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts.
