Agis Georgiades, Adjunct Faculty at the School of Law of the University of Nicosia, becomes the First Cypriot Member of the London Court of International Arbitration
Agis Georgiades, Adjunct Faculty of the School of Law of the University of Nicosia and advocate practicing arbitration and ADR, becomes the first Cypriot to be admitted as a member of the renowned LCIA Court, the London Court of International Arbitration. LCIA, established between 1891-1892, is one of the oldest arbitral forums, mandated to resolve international disputes among leading actors of the international business world. The LCIA Court is made up of up to thirty-five members from different countries, selected to provide and maintain a balance of leading practitioners in international arbitration. The said appointment constitutes a significant development for our School, on which we would like to warmly congratulate Mr Georgiades.
