
Mr Petros Petrikkos
Adjunct Faculty
Dr Petros Petrikkos holds a PhD in International Relations and European Studies, an MSc in Conflict Studies, and a BA (Hons) in International Relations. As a researcher, Dr Petrikkos has worked as an analyst and consultant to non-governmental organisations, the private sector, the Republic of Cyprus, the EU, the United Nations, and other international organisations in the fields of politics, policy, law, and national security. He has been a HARNO Visiting Scholar at the School of Governance, Law and Society at Tallinn University and currently an Associate Member at the Centre for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies at Queen Mary, University of London. At the University of Nicosia, he is Adjunct Lecturer in International Relations at the Department of Politics and Governance, School of Law, and a Project Manager at the Diplomatic Academy. His research has puzzled with the role of emotions and identity in Security Studies, touching upon themes related to Hybrid Threats, Ontological Security, Small States, IR Theory, Politics and Technology, National Security, the EU, and the Middle East. His regional expertise includes Cyprus, Estonia, Lebanon, and other case studies.
