Eight days of festive celebrations from 28 November to 5 December
The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is excited to present the return of holiday magic with an extended celebration of Christmas traditions and community spirit. “UNIC Christmas Spirit 2025” will transform the campus from Friday, 28 November, through Friday, 5 December, inviting everyone to experience the warmth of the season through:
- Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with live broadcast by DEEJAY RADIO 93.5
- Festive Christmas Village featuring outdoor market and holiday activities
- Complimentary Christmas Movie Screenings
- Special Student Holiday Party
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The holiday celebration kicks off with the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree on Friday, 28 November, at 18:00. The ceremony will feature seasonal music by DEEJAY RADIO 93.5, in a live broadcast, while guests enjoy complimentary festive refreshments and embrace the beginning of the Christmas season.
Christmas Village Experience

29-30 November, 11:00-18:00
Following the tree lighting ceremony, the Christmas Village opens its doors on 28 November from 18:00 to 22:00, continuing through the weekend of 29-30 November from 11:00 to 19:00. This enchanting holiday marketplace showcases charming wooden chalets and festive stalls brimming with handcrafted items, seasonal decorations, unique gifts, delicious treats, warm beverages, and gourmet street food.
Weekend visitors can enjoy an array of entertainment including live dance and musical performances, captivating storytelling sessions, creative face painting, memorable photos with Santa and his merry elves, exciting bouncy castle adventures, and much more family-friendly fun.

The festive spirit continues with free Christmas movie screenings at UNIC’s Discovery Hall from Monday, 1 December, through Friday, 5 December, creating perfect opportunities for families and friends to gather and enjoy beloved holiday classics together.
