JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT CYPRUS’ FIRST BI-COMMUNAL INNOVATION CAMP:
FINALE AND AWARDS CEREMONY
CINE STUDIO, UNIVERSITY OF NICOSIA – FRIDAY, 24 october 2014, 5.00-6.30pm
On Friday, 24 October, Junior Achievement Cyprus is organizing the first Bi-communal Innovation Camp, an intensive experience that engages Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot students in entrepreneurial and collaboration techniques.
The Innovation Camp is a one-day event where 100 students, aged 15-18, from across the country, come together in order to find a solution to a unique challenge. The students will be divided into 20 teams, made up of 5 individuals. Working with other students whom they have not met before, they will have just 4 hours to shape their ideas. They will have access to the Internet and business experts. In the afternoon, they will present their solutions (products/services/innovations) to a high-level jury.
The event is supported by the US Embassy in Cyprus.
Join us for the Finale to see the students in action and share in their innovative ideas.
