The Department of Politics and Governance is hosting an online info session titled "States and Societies in Europe: Contemporary Practices and Issues of Public Governance" on Wednesday, 23 July 2025 between 18:00-19:00.   

This event, organised by the Public Administration (MPA, 3 Semesters) – E-Learning/Distance Learning (Online) programme, offers a unique opportunity to delve into critical issues shaping the intersection between states and societies in contemporary public governance, at a time of multiple socio-political shifts and crises. The online info session addresses key insights from sociology, political science, and public administration, making it particularly valuable for students, researchers, and practitioners in the public sector, diplomacy, NGOs, and other organisations. 

The event will feature two concise presentations:  

  1. State institutions and society: Trends and Challenges
  2. The EU Pillar of Social Rights 

A moderated Q&A session will follow the presentations, allowing attendees to engage with experts and deepen their understanding of the multifaceted practices and issues of public governance in the contemporary age. 

Certificates of Attendance will be offered to the participants.
