The Proggy-Buggy Contest is a programming event organised by DataArt . It has been running since 2013, attracting over 10,000 participants from 60 countries — and now it’s your turn! You can join with a team and pick a category based on your experience (we’ve got options for beginners and more advanced coders). Whether you’re a student, a developer, a tester, or just someone who loves solving algorithm puzzles, you’re welcome here!
Proggy-Buggy Contest is more than just a programming competition — it’s a community, a challenge, and a chance to have fun while testing your skills. You’ll have 42 minutes to solve 13 algorithmic problems — enough to push your brain, learn, and enjoy the process!
No matter if you code in Python, Java, C++, or any other language, this is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, improve your skills, and meet others who are as passionate about programming as you are.
This could be a great first step toward your IT career — many of today’s Developers, Project Managers, Team Leads, and even CEOs started right here, solving the same 13 problems in 42 minutes.
Who Should Participate?
We invite students, developers, testers, and all individuals with a passion for programming, an understanding of program development, and an appreciation for concepts like “console applications” and “standard input/output streams.” This contest is open to anyone who enjoys tackling unsolved problems and pushing the boundaries of their coding abilities!
