Typefaces are communication vehicles and they constitute a significant part of today’s society. Different alphabets, used by large public establishments and private companies, represent their identity and type of business. Exciting advancements in digital technology and the growing needs of the markets have resulted in an increased interest in the making of fonts. Designers can now more easily develop custom typefaces for their clients, contributing significantly to a strategy that aims at originality and uniqueness in a globalised market.
