Dr Evangelos C. Bellonias

Evangelos C. Bellonias is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at the University of Nicosia Medical School.

Dr Bellonias graduated at Athens Kapodistrian University where he obtained his Medical Diploma. He subsequently worked at the NHS for a number of years and acquired the specialty of Plastic Surgery.

He is currently on his fourth decade of Plastic Surgery practice, that includes not only a wide range of Aesthetic procedures and Laser treatments but also a range of Reconstructive procedures with particular interest in Hypospadias repair, breast reconstruction and bariatric Plastic Surgery. Over the course of several years, he gained considerable experience in developing the comprehensive training course syllabus, educational materials as well as the actual teaching of a series of twelve workshops for the practical training of Plastic and Orthopaedic Surgeons on “Flap surgery on Live Tissues” held at ELPEN Laboratories.

He has also been a member of the organizing and scientific committees for the HESPAS congresses for the past twenty years, and delivered numerous speeches and participated in several round table discussions.
