UNIC Launches the Evolve Lecture Series

UNIC launches the Evolve Lecture Series, a new initiative dedicated to frontier developments and expert perspectives in artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, and the future of human health.

Inspired by Evolve, the University of Nicosia’s flagship research initiative, the series highlights scientific and technological advances that support longevity, wellbeing, and biological resilience. As a central component of the University’s research strategy, Evolve seeks to connect nutrition, environment, human biology, and real-world data in the development of new models for preventive medicine and personalised health support, strengthening the connection between research and practical application.

This new lecture series will bring together leading scientists, researchers, and innovators to explore ideas and discoveries that are shaping the future of health and medicine.

The inaugural lecture, titled “David Sinclair on Age Reversal: From Discovery to Human Trials”, will be delivered by David Sinclair, Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, who will discuss recent scientific breakthroughs in aging research, from laboratory discoveries to the first human clinical trials aimed at addressing age-related decline.
