Credit-based Internships

Credit-based internships are designed for undergraduate students who are in their 3rd or 4th year of studies in the schools of Business, Science and Engineering, and Computer Science.

These internships provide students with an opportunity to gain practical experience while earning academic credit. This means that students can integrate their internship experience smoothly into their curriculum and progress towards graduation.

To be eligible, students should have a minimum CPA of 2.5, with a slightly higher requirement of CPA equals or greater than 3 for the students in the School of Computer Science. This ensures that participating students have a strong academic foundation and are ready to take on real-world challenges.

Before registering for a credit-based internship, interested students must seek guidance and assignment of a host company relevant to their subject matter. UNIC has a team of dedicated professionals who will provide counselling and assist students in finding the best-fit internship opportunity. CSC has established partnerships with a wide range of companies, both in Cyprus and internationally, ensuring that students have access to a diverse pool of internship options.

Participating in a credit-based internship offers numerous advantages for students. It provides hands-on experience and exposure to the industry, helping them develop crucial skills and knowledge that will be valuable in their future careers. Additionally, internships often serve as a stepping stone for future employment opportunities, as students have the chance to network and establish connections within their chosen field.

We encourage eligible students to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to enhance their education and career prospects. By participating in a credit-based internship, students can gain a competitive edge and stand out in the job market. Don’t miss out on the chance to work with some of the largest and most reputable companies in Cyprus and beyond.
