Dr Vagia Polyzoidou is an Associate Professor in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice, working in University of Nicosia since 2015. She also participates as a lecturer in joint Master “Criminal Law and Addictions” (provided by AUTH and UNIC in collaboration with EOPAE” as well as in MA Criminology (School of Humanities , UNIC) and in brand new MA Regulation Technology (School of Law, UNIC). She completed her studies in Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (: she holds a LLB, a LLM in Criminal Law and Criminology/Degree: Excellent and a PhD from the same University/Degree: Excellent). Her thesis (“The Criminalization of Child Pornography”) -for which she was awarded with a scholarship – was published by Nomiki Vivliothiki. She is a member of several associations and organizations as well as the co-director of the Laboratory for “Law and Literature” in UNIC.
